It's a program created by our team of  highly skilled physical therapists that will customize a solution for your exact needs and goals. When you work with our team of professional therapists you'll get superior service from the time you contact our office until you finish your program. Our Ultimate Therapy family is motivated to deliver results in a positive and inviting atmosphere.

Custom Plan

You are unique and your program that we design will be specifically for you and what your body needs.   As part of your custom plan we utilize hands on treatment and your therapist will be  present and with you throughout treatment.

Movement Analysis

You will not only have addressed your concerns, but together we will go the extra mile to determine the "why" behind your concerns for better long term results.  We perform a movement analysis and utilize a whole body approach as part of your program. 

Skilled Therapist

You will be treated by a skilled licensed therapist who has gone through a rigorous hiring process.   Sam, the owner,  only hires therapists that she is 100% comfortable and confident with.  She trusts her team enough to treat her own family.

Team Approach

You will become part of our team from day one.  It takes your participation and our advanced training to cross the finish line.   Our staff is a consistent group that has worked together as a team for years. 

Home Exercises

Your treatment program would not be complete without a home program.  You will be provided with exercises in video form or paper form with instruction by your therapist. 

 Phone Support

While you are at the office the exercises and education you are provided with may make complete sense.  However, when you go home you may find that you have questions.  No problem, you can call us and we will answer any questions that you may have.

  • What should I bring to my first therapy appointment?

    Be sure to arrive 20 min early to complete new patient paperwork. Bring your insurance card, photo ID, your doctors order or referral if provided by your doctor and a list of current medications.

  • What should I wear to my therapy appointments?

    Wear loose fitting clothing that is easy to move around in and wear comfortable shoes. Gym attire is also appropriate.

  • How long will my physical therapy appointment last?

    Physical therapy appointments will typically last 45 min- 60 min.

  • Will the therapist treat other patients at the same time as me?

     No, we schedule our appointments so you have one to one time with your therapist. It is typical for therapy clinics to have 2-3 patients at a time, however, we do things different than the industry standard to deliver a more personal approach. 

  • What insurance companies do you participate with?

    Most major commercial insurance companies, Medicare, Tricare, motor vehicle accidents, workman's compensation. If we do not participate with your insurance you can use your out of network options and we have cash options available.

  • What will my Physical Therapy Treatment session cost me?

    Your out of pocket cost per treatment will depend on your co-pay, co-insurance and deductible as deemed by your individual insurance company. We do not set this fee, this is determined by your insurance company. You can call the number on the back of your card if you have questions prior to your first appointment. 

  • Do I need a doctor's order to come to therapy?

     In the state of Maryland we are an open access state, meaning you are able to see a Physical Therapist without a doctor's order. Many insurances including Medicare do not require a doctor’s order as well. When we verify your benefits we will know if you need one or not. You can also call the number on the back of your card for clarification. 

  • Do you offer massages?

    Yes, we have a licensed massage therapist. To learn more please visit our Massage Therapy page.

  • How many times will I have to come?
